thumbnail Hello,

The attacker has been consistently linked with a move to north London, and the Bundesliga side are thought to be in line for extra remuneration dependent on performance

Koln are set to receive additional payments from Arsenal in Lukas Podolski's proposed move to England dependent on the Premier League club's performance on the pitch, Express reports.

The Germany international has been linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium for a number of months, and a deal is thought to be close.

However, the German newspaper have stated that a number of clauses will be installed into the versatile forward's contract with the Gunners.

It is believed that Stale Solbakken's side will receive an extra €500,000 should the 26-year-old help Arsene Wenger's men win the Premier League or Champions League during the alleged four-year contract offer to Podolski.

Similarly, the north London outfit will also pay off investors that helped to fund the Poland-born marksman's move from Bayern Munich to the RhineEnergieStadion in 2009.

Podolski is Koln's top goalscorer this season with 16 strikes in 21 Bundesliga appearances, yet will miss Sunday's game against Hannover through suspension.
