The Spaniard had very little to do but kept his focus to react when called upon, diving to deny Walcott once in each half. Could do nothing about Van Persie's first goal, maybe a little surprised by the Dutchman's winner.
The Spaniard lost Walcott once early on and allowed Sagna to cross too easily for Van Persie's goal. Improved in the second-half and was comfortable on the ball.
Generally alert defensively but could have done more to read the cross and challenge Van Persie for the Arsenal goal.
Solid performance from the Reds right-back. Dealt well with Benayoun and offered width going forward.
Strong in the air as he looked to bully Van Persie and showed good defensive anticpation.
Excellent athleticism as he continually joined the hosts' attacks. Sometimes lacked quality - once cutting back when provided with a great chance to shoot - but he sharp. Dangerous cross forced Koscielny's own-goal and he tested Szczesny with a well-placed shot.
Offered balance and width on the left side, linking up well with the likes of Suarez and Henderson. Still short of confidence, rarely taking on Sagna and playing poor final balls, including an awful scuffed volley in the first-half and a misplaced pass to Suarez late on.
Slightly sloppy in possession but impressive in his main role of breaking up Arsenal attacks and starting Liverpool moves. Snapped into tackles and produced a precise pass in the build-up to the Reds' opener.
Seemed to frustrate the Kop at times with his over-ambition but held his position well and played some good passes. Low cross in the first-half diverted onto the post by Kuyt.
The Dutchman was full of beans after his goal in the League Cup and was involved in the thick of the action. Superb link-up with Suarez for the penalty but his spot-kick was poor and he failed to convert the rebound. Nearly made amends but hit the post on the stretch.
Constantly worried the Arsenal defenders with his exceptional movement and skill. Won the penalty - despite the minimal contact - after an excellent interchange with Kuyt and forced Szczesny into a fingertip save following a fine run and shot. The weakest aspect of the Uruguayan's game is, however, his finishing, and he should have scored with an effort that struck the outside of the post from a tight angle.
The Polish goalkeeper kept Arsenal in the game with some wonderful saves, particularly in the first-half. Brilliant double save to keep out Kuyt's penalty and subsequent rebound while he was at full stretch to deny Henderson and Suarez as Liverpool launched attacks. Did concede the penalty for bringing down Suarez but contact seemed minimal.
Whipped in a lovely cross from the right touchline for Van Persie to head Arsenal level in the first-half. Handled Downing well but less comfortable when Suarez pulled out to te left side.
Good positioning and attacked the ball well despite a couple of clumsy challenges on Suarez.
Decent display but allowed the likes of Henderson and Kuyt to deliver dangerous crosses. Rarely went forward but showed his pace and vision by picking out Walcott for a chance.
Horrible attempted clearance resulted in the French defender slicing into his own net in the 23rd minute. Never seemed to get to grips with Suarez's livewire movement.
Had hardly any influence on the game on his return to one of his former clubs. Unsurprisingly replaced by Gervinho in the 74th minute.
Sat at the base of the Arsenal midfield and took up decent positions without ever really getting to grips with Liverpool's attacking thrust. Lovely ball for Van Persie's injury-time winner.
The Czech playmaker played some neat passes in the first-half but was largely on the periphery of the game.
Offered the odd reminder of his threat - testing Reina once in each half - but lost possession too easily and failed to offer the right runs for his team-mates.
R. van Persie
The Arsenal only needed two chances - and he took them to win the Gunners three points they didn't deserve. Sharper to the ball than the Liverpool defenders to head home the equaliser and produced a stunning volley for the winner. Wonderful technique.

Replaced Diaby in the 80th minute and showed signs of his attacking quality, smashing one shot just off-target from 25 yards.
Returned from injury to replaced Arteta in the 53rd minute. First action was a good shot from the edge of the box but was himself replaced 10 minutes from time by Oxlade-Chamberlain after complaining of an injury.
Came on for Benayoun in the 74th minute and offered an outlet in the closing stages.
