Poll of the day: Is Ryan Giggs Manchester United's greatest ever player?
Has the 38-year-old, who netted the winner in a fairytale 900th game for the Red Devils, finally surpassed other Old Trafford greats?
The Welshman joined the club as a youngster and made his first league start in the 1991 Manchester derby at Old Trafford aged just 17, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win.
Since then the winger, now 38, has won 21 trophies - more than any other player in English football - and has firmly secured legendary status in the eyes of Red Devils' fans and football supporters everywhere.
During his time at the club the midfielder has only scored some superb goals for Sir Alex Ferguson's side, most notably the solo run and finish against Arsenal in the 1999 FA Cup semi-final that kept United in the running for the treble.
Sunday saw Giggs, who already holds the record for the most appearances for his team, go a step closer to Paolo Maldini's total games for one club.
The defender is currently on 902 for Milan but the Welsh wizard is expected to surpass that next month and has already stated his intention to continue playing next season.
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he does not think Giggs' club achievement will ever be beaten, but do you agree?Goal.com wants to know what you think.
