Manchester City midfielder David Silva believes Carlos Tevez's return could be the push they need to claim the Premier League title.
The Argentine hasn't played since September and is yet to score, after embarking on a self-imposed five-month exile.
However, Silva believes that if Tevez can get back to full fitness he will be a great asset to a side looking to wrestle the title away from rivals Manchester United.
“Carlos is a great player and if he is physically fit he would be a very good player to have. But it will be down to the coaches and the technical team to decide who plays and who doesn't,” the 26-year-old told reporters.
The former Valencia player has praised the character and commitment of his team-mate and also suggested that having four strikers could give them vital strength in depth.
"Carlos has shown before he has great character and determination and for someone like him it would be easier to get into form than for others.
"It is very important to have those four great strikers with us. It makes it easier for the people playing behind them.
"We all know they are great players and it could be an important factor to help us win the title race."
