The Brazilian full-back has been at Anfield since 2006 and made 133 appearances but has found game time hard to come by this season and will allegedly be moved on
The Brazilian left-back has made only two appearances so far this season for the Reds, finding himself behind the likes of Jose Enrique and Glen Johnson for places in Kenny Dalglish’s defence.
Reports claimed that there have been no talks regarding a new deal and, with youngsters Jack Robinson and Jon Flanagan highly regarded by the club, the 32-year-old is considered surplus to requirements.
Aurelio had previously left Anfield in the summer of 2010 when his previous deal expired, but returning only two months later when Roy Hodgson took charge of the club.
The left-back is still hopeful of getting some more match time for the Reds, whom he joined from Valencia in 2006.
“I am feeling good,” Aurelio told the newspaper.
“I am enjoying the training sessions every day and improving. I am available and waiting for an opportunity to get on the pitch again.
“It’s up to the manager to decide who is involved in each match, but my aim is to be available as much as possible and see what his thoughts are.”
The former Sao Paulo full-back has made a total of 133 appearances in a Liverpool shirt so far in his spell at Anfield.
