Steven Caulker: Swansea City can keep their heads held high despite Norwich City defeat
The Swans defender says his side have done 'very well' this season, despite losing to fellow Premier League new boys the Canaries at the weekend

Swansea City’s on-loan defender Steven Caulker insists his side can be proud of themselves, despite suffering a rare home defeat to Norwich City on Saturday.
Brendan Rogers’ men lost 3-2 to the Canaries on Saturday, a result which marked just their second defeat at home - the other coming against champions Manchester United.
Swansea have made the Liberty Stadium a fortress this season and Caulker wants to make sure that their impressive record doesn’t go unnoticed following this recent slip-up.
“After the game the boys were all very quiet in the changing, which is only natural,” he told the club’s website.
“We were very disappointed with the result. But the gaffer reminded us that we had only lost two at home all season, which is a tremendous achievement.
“I don’t think we should let ourselves forget about the record we have at home. We have done very well. We won’t let ourselves get down too much.”
Swansea don’t play again until February 26 when they face Stoke City, and Rodgers has used the break in matches as an opportunity to go on a warm weather training camp.
Caulker, who is on-loan from Tottenham Hotspur, is now in Tenerife with the rest of the squad as Swansea look to recharge their batteries ahead of the final 13 games of the season.
He added: “Being in Tenerife will allow us to look ahead and prepare for the Stoke game.
“A change of scenery and weather will be good for us and we are looking forward to going to Stoke and getting a result.”
Swansea have gained universal acclaim for their expansive passing game and have only lost two out of their last nine in the Premier League.
The Britannia Stadium will provide a clash of styles as well as a tough test for Swansea when they travel there in 12 days time.
