The Belgian wideman has already revealed his intention to switch to the Premier League, and now looks set to for White Hart Lane despite interest from Chelsea and Arsenal
The Belgian winger has long been on the radar off both Arsenal and Chelsea, with the latter already embarking on a recruitment policy of young talent from Hazard’s native country.
However, it looks Spurs may have stolen a march on their London rivals, with the 21-year-old revealing to Belgian TV that he could be on his way to White Hart Lane.
Hazard told RTBF on Monday: “Maybe I'll go to Tottenham. It's a great English club. I said I would go to England”.
The wideman’s comments follow on from reports emerging from France Football on Monday that personal terms had already been agreed between the player and Tottenham.
Whilst there has been no indication from either Spurs or Lille that a deal has been agreed, it is believed a significant transfer fee would be required to prize Hazard away from the Ligue 1 champions.
