A group of Feyenoord fans are behind an online petition in an attempt to keep Manchester City loanee John Guidetti at De Kuip for an additional season.
The Sweden Under-21 international joined the Eredivisie giants on a one-year loan deal at the start of the 2011-12 campaign and has since developed into a key player at the Rotterdam giants, scoring 14 goals in 14 league appearances for Feyenoord, while setting up five more.
However, the attacker regularly speaks with Manchester City representatives and he is widely expected to return to the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.
The Feyenoord faithful have not given up hopes of holding on to the popular striker for another year though, and well over 24,000 fans have already signed the online petition.
Guidetti has a contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2014.
