Poll of the day: Could Tottenham still win the Premier League title?
Spurs picked up a point at Anfield on Monday night but do they have what it takes to pip the Manchester clubs to 1st place in the league now there is a seven point gap?
Tottenham were held to a fairly uninspiring 0-0 draw away to Liverpool last night as they reached the 50-point mark in the Premier League.
The game itself was not exactly a thrilling encounter with Harry Redknapp stranded in London following bad weather but Gareth Bale came closest to securing all three points late in the match, failing to beat Pepe Reina in a one-on-one.
Spurs are depleted by injuries, with Younes Kaboul, Rafael van der Vaart, Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe all missing on Monday, and the result leaves them seven points behind league leaders Manchester City and five behind second-placed Manchester United.
The north London club still have to face United at home but have lost six points to Roberto Mancini's team after their tempestuous 3-2 defeat at the Etihad Stadium last month.
There are still three months and 14 games left for Redknapp's side to make up the gap, but is it a bridge too far? United and City also both drew at Anfield, but does this result weaken Spurs' title bid, or are they gearing up for a top-four finish anyway?
Do you think Tottenham can still win the Premier League title? Or are they destined to challenge only for a Champions League position?
