Agent of Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp insists he wouldn't consider selling Jermain Defoe to Liverpool
The England striker had been linked with a potential move to Anfield and reports were fuelled on Tuesday night when he failed to even make the bench in the win over Wigan

Tottenham’s Jermain Defoe was never set to move to Liverpool, according to the agent of Harry Redknapp.
Defoe has been tentatively linked with a move away from White Hart Lane in January after a solid season so far, bagging eight league goals in 16 matches, whilst the Reds search for a striker to bolster their frontline.
Reports were fuelled on Tuesday night when Defoe failed to even make the bench for Spurs’ win over Wigan at White Hart Lane, however, Phil Smith, Redknapp’s agent, has dismissed the rumours.
Speaking to ESPN Soccernet, Smith said: “I cannot believe that Harry would sell Defoe, so discount a move to Liverpool.”
Elsewhere in the Spurs squad, Roman Pavlyuchenko appears to be on his way out after Goal.com revealed a £7.5 million move to Lokomotiv Moscow is on the cards following the imminent loan signing of Everton's Louis Saha.

"But, we came through. Obviously there were a lot of changes so it's good to get the result.
"Belgium are a very, very strong side who are going to be really good in the future. Vincent [Kompany] told me about them and said that they were coming good and I totally agree with him."
"[Gary] Cahill I suppose is slightly more of a concern for me because it is a jaw injury. We're desperately hoping the CT scan doesn't show any fracture and it's just going to be a bruising situation, which will be bad enough, but won't stop him taking part in the tournament. As far as John's [Terry] concerned he felt his hamstring a little bit. Again it wasn't a major thing when he came off but we still need to scan it just to be 100 per cent sure."
Suffice to say, if Cahill has broken his jaw, he won't play any part in the tournament.
