Roman Pavlyuchenko on verge of £7.5m switch from Tottenham to Lokomotiv Moscow
Spurs have agreed to sell the out-of-favour striker back to his native Russia, which has opened the door for Louis Saha to complete loan move to White Hart Lane

Roman Pavlyuchenko is on the verge of joining Lokomotiv Moscow from Tottenham for £7.5 million, Goal.com can reveal.
Spurs have agreed to sell the striker back to his native Russia and he is free to discuss personal terms with the Moscow club.
Sources have told Goal.com that Pavlyuchenko’s wage demands are not expected to be a sticking point and the deal should go through smoothly.
Although Russia’s transfer window does not close until February 24, Spurs are keen to push through the transfer so they can immediately bring in Louis Saha from Everton on loan, the player they have lined up as a replacement.
Manager Harry Redknapp has been keen to off-load Pavlyuchenko for some time and a recent bust-up involving the striker and the manager’s assistant Kevin Bond has proved to be the player’s last significant act at the club.
The 30-year-old Russian has not started a single Premier League match for Spurs this season, although he has scored four goals, including one as a substitute in the league.
Saha will take Pavlyuchenko’s place among Tottenham’s forward options with Redknapp the driving force for the capture of a player with an excellent pedigree but an undistinguished record of only two goals this season.
The experienced France international, 33, is likely to be confirmed as a Spurs player on loan by tonight.

"But, we came through. Obviously there were a lot of changes so it's good to get the result.
"Belgium are a very, very strong side who are going to be really good in the future. Vincent [Kompany] told me about them and said that they were coming good and I totally agree with him."
"[Gary] Cahill I suppose is slightly more of a concern for me because it is a jaw injury. We're desperately hoping the CT scan doesn't show any fracture and it's just going to be a bruising situation, which will be bad enough, but won't stop him taking part in the tournament. As far as John's [Terry] concerned he felt his hamstring a little bit. Again it wasn't a major thing when he came off but we still need to scan it just to be 100 per cent sure."
Suffice to say, if Cahill has broken his jaw, he won't play any part in the tournament.
