Championship side Watford are set to sign Fulham winger Alex Kacaniklic on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old Swedish under-21 international joined Fulham from Liverpool in the summer of 2010, but has yet to make a first-team breakthrough at Craven Cottage.

However, he has been a key member of Fulham's development squad, and Fulham manager Martin Jol wants him to head out on loan so that he can get some valuable first-team experience under his belt.

Watford boss Sean Dyche is looking to bolster his squad, and sees Kacaniklic as a good addition to his Hornets squad.
