Agent of Chelsea's Alex reveals no agreement has yet been reached with Paris Saint-Germain
Despite the centre-back's move to the French capital being regarded as a done deal, his representative has played down suggestions an accord between the two clubs has been struck
By Livio Caferoglu
Fresh from the 29-year-old's proposed move to QPR collapsing over personal terms, reports had surfaced that the French giants were closing in on a €5 million deal for his services, along with a contract until 2013 being readied.
However, the Brazilian stopper's agent Giuliano Bertolucci has insisted that his client remains a Chelsea player, as Carlo Ancelotti's side have yet to make contact with the Blues, but reiterated the player's desire to move to the Parc des Princes.
"There is no agreement to date, we have not received a formal offer from PSG." said Bertolucci. "[However] Alex remains eager to join PSG."
Alex has fallen out-of-favour at the Stamford Bridge outfit this season, making only eight appearances in all competitions.
