Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish confirms interest in Sporting Lisbon youngster Joao Carlos

The 19-year-old Portuguese is yet to play for the club's first team, but has been linked with a move to Anfield worth around £1 million after impressing the Reds' scouts in August.
Carlos featured for a Sporting youth side that beat Liverpool 3-0 in a European Under-19 NextGen Series match that month, and Dalglish admits there may be interest on the Premier League club's part.
"There might be something about that," Dalglish told reporters when asked of the rumoured interest.
However, the 60-year-old did not think that Carlos would be ready to play a part in the first team this season if signed.
"No, he's only a kid," he said.
