Mark Hughes has dismissed suggestions that Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez could move to QPR in the January transfer window.
There had been rumours that the Argentine could move to Loftus Road to link up again with the new QPR boss, who signed him for City and has the same representative as the player.
However, the former Wales boss says that although he would like to manage the forward again in the future, he will not be making a move for him this month.
"Not in this window, absolutely not," he told Sky Sports.
"Ideally, I would love the chance to work with Carlos again, but it is not going to happen anytime soon."
A move to AC Milan now appears to be out of the question for Tevez after Alexandre Pato decided to stay at San Siro, while Inter are believed to be holding talks with the player’s representative this week.
