There is still time for Arsenal to mount a Premier League title charge – Lukasz Fabianski
Despite being 12 points adrift of leaders Manchester City, the Polish goalkeeper insists the Gunners can still catch the top three, and is glad of a less-congested January

Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski feels the Gunners are still in with a chance of winning the Premier League this season, and that they can catch the top three sides in the title race.
Arsene Wenger’s men are currently fifth in the table, nine points behind second-placed Manchester United and Tottenham in third, while they are 12 points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
However the Polish stopper is confident his side can overhaul the deficit in the second of the season as Arsenal look to end their seven-year trophy drought.
He told the club’s official website: "I don't think there is a split between the top three and the rest because you can see already this season that some teams had a great start, but suddenly dropped points.
"It’s a bit mixed. Those top three teams at the moment have a bit more of an advantage above the other teams, but there is still time, there are loads of games and it can all still change I think."
Fabianski believes the fewer number of games Arsenal are playing in January compared with last year will stand them in good stead and help keep them fresh towards the end of the season.
"It will make a huge difference," said Fabianski. "The Christmas period was quite busy for us, so having only six games instead of nine in January is much better. You have more rest time, you won’t be that stressed, you won’t travel that much, it’s much better for us."
