Goal.com readers believe Thierry Henry will score goals and contribute heavily to Arsenal in his second spell at the club following his two-month loan move from the New York Red Bulls.

The Frenchman became a club legend in his first spell with the Gunners scoring 226 goals in 369 appearances before leaving for Barcelona in 2007.

Henry had similar success in Spain scoring 49 goals in three years with the Catalans before joining the Red Bulls in 2010 and in two seasons in the MLS he has netted 17 times.

However, now aged 34, can Henry still produce the goods in the Premier League and Champions League for Arsenal, where he will face opponents such as AC Milan, Manchester United and Tottenham?

That is the question we put to our readers, and here's how you responded:

34.15 per cent of readers believe the striker will find the net 3-4 times in his two-months with the Gunners.

While 22.43% of people will think Henry will pick up where he left off at the Emirates and notch seven goals or more out of a possible 10 games.

19.9% think the Frenchman will get his goal and maybe a couple on his return but will not set the world alight but 17.71% of readers think he’ll fire 5-6 goals in at a rate of one every other game.

Only 5.81% think Henry will not score in his reunion with Arsenal and Arsene Wenger.

HAVE YOUR SAY

In Arsene We Trust: He's only going to be playing out wide in Gervinho's area so I don't think he will make much of a contribution to the goal's tally.

Andrew, London: I think he'll be a bigger influence off the field. I don't see any substantial on-field contribution from Henry. He won't flop, but nothing outstanding.

Reuben Innocent, Nigeria: Henry will score 3-4 goals for Arsenal, he will contribute to the success of Arsenal, only his presence will motivate others to play well thanks.

Phil, London: It doesn’t matter if he doesn’t score any goals....just as long as he grabs the winner in his last game against Tottenham I don’t care.
