Arsenal have completed the signing of legendary striker Thierry Henry on a two-month loan move from MLS club New York Red Bulls.
The romantic return to the club where he scored 226 goals in 370 matches will delight fans of the Gunners and the striker could make his debut in the FA Cup tie against Leeds United on Monday.
In total, if he is fully fit throughout his spell, the Frenchman will be eligible to play in eight matches – potentially rising to 10 depending on how far Arsenal progress in the early rounds of the FA Cup.

Henry has himself admitted that he is expecting to spend much of his time contributing from the substitutes’ bench, with star man Robin van Persie the leading light in attack.
After joining, the enthusiastic 34-year-old said: “It is unreal to be honest. When it comes to Arsenal my heart will always do the talking. Once I knew the plan behind it I was OK with it. I am not coming here to be a hero or prove anything - I am just coming here to help.”
Goal.com wants to know what you think – how will Henry do on his return to the Emirates? How many goals do you think he will score?
Will the experienced frontman flop completely or only be able to make what would be considered as a minor contribution?
Can he roll back the years and become a first-team stalwart once again?
Will he be a useful and wise addition who contributes valuable goals and performances or will he be a revelation who instantly repeats his Arsenal form of days gone by?
