‘It’s not a nice place to be for the goalkeeper’ - Everton stopper Tim Howard reveals reason for not celebrating after Bolton goal
The American scored a freak second-half goal against Trotters 'keeper Adam Bogdan, but the Hungarians blushes were saved as Owen Coyle's side came from behind to secure victory

The Hungarians blushes were saved however as goals from David N'Gog and Gary Cahill secured a much-needed away victory for the Trotters, as Owen Coyle's side moved off the bottom of the Premier League table.
Howard refused to celebrate after scoring the goal, and admitted the past experience of conceding such an effort in his youth days meant he knew not to rub salt in the wound of Bogdan.
"It's not a nice place to be," Howard told reporters. "I've been there before - a long, long time ago - and that was why I didn't celebrate.
"I was delighted that we were in the lead and would hopefully go on to get three points, but it's not a nice feeling for a keeper, it's really awful actually."
The 34-year-old also conceded that the windy conditions had just as much to do with the goal than any accuracy on his part.
"You could see everybody was mistiming balls. Defenders were missing clearances that normally they would put up the field," he said.
"I think the wind is the hardest condition to play in. Snow, rain, sun doesn't matter, but the wind really does play tricks on you."
The former Manchester United stopper also drew praise from other goalkeepers, including Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny, for not celebrating the goal.
"Well done Tim Howard. Big respect for not celebrating the goal! Class! #GKunion," the Pole said on his official Twitter page.
