Martin Jol reveals Simon Davies could make Fulham return after six-month lay-off against Swansea

The former Welsh international has been sidelined since damaging his knee in the Europa League in June, and is likely to feature at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday

Fulham boss Martin Jol has revealed that midfielder Simon Davies could return to Premier League action against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Davies sustained a knee injury at the start of Fulham's Europa League campaign back in June, but after six months of rehabilitation, the 32-year-old could feature in the clash in South Wales.

Fulham boss Martin Jol told The Sun: "He gave himself seven out of ten fitness-wise. If he's fine tomorrow, I'll put him in the squad."

Cottagers midfielder Danny Murphy could also start in tomorrow's game, despite picking up a minor ankle injury in last Monday's victory over Liverpool.
