Wolfsburg are considering making a move for Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky in the January transfer window, according to Bild.

Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath is eager to add some fresh blood to his squad and he reportedly sees the 31-year-old as the perfect signing.

The Bundesliga club were already linked with the midfielder in the summer, but a move never materialised. However, they are eager to land their man in the winter and are ready to begin negotiations.

The Czech Republic international is finding regular first team action hard to come by in London this season and could opt to leave the Emirates in the winter.

The attacking midfielder's contract with the Gunners expires in the summer of 2012 and the Londoners appear to be ready to cash in on Rosicky in January.

Rosicky previously played in the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund from 2001 until 2006 before moving to Arsenal.
