Young Spaniard is in confident mood after his first league goal for the club helped the Lancashire side secure a draw at Fulham on Sunday and he now has the Gunners in his sights
The 20-year-old arrived from Barcelona for a reported fee of £390,000 in January and has made just six league appearances, however, his most recent performance looks set to keep him firmly in Steve Kean’s first-team plans after scoring and impressing against Fulham.
Although only getting a point at Fulham, Rochina is feeling confident about Rovers’ chances in their next match as they welcome Arsenal to Ewood Park.
Talking to the Lancashire Telegraph, the former Valencia academy player said: "Fulham are a good team and I think it was a good point.
“It was very important. The game wasn't at home, it was a difficult game.
"Arsenal is a good game but I think we must work hard and I think we can win the game. They are a great team but we have many good players and a good team. I think we can win.
"Next weekend I will try for that, and the other players the same."
