thumbnail Hello,

Argentine named as substitute along with Gael Clichy as Eden Dzeko, Mario Balotelli and David Silva form three-man attack for Roberto Mancini's side

Manchester City fans will have to wait a little longer before they see new signing Sergio Aguero in action, after the Argentine was named on the bench for their Community Shield clash against Manchester United.

The Argentine, who was unable to make his debut in the Dublin Super Cup last weekend after suffering with blisters, will have to settle for a place among the substitutes along with fellow signing Gael Clichy and Stefan Savic.

Sir Alex Ferguson meanwhile names two of his summer recruits in United side, as David de Gea starts in goal, while Ashley Young will operate from the left flank, as Michael Carrick - who was expected to miss the match with an Achilles injury - lines up in midfield alongside Anderson.

Danny Welbeck gets the nod over Dimitar Berbatov to play alongside Wayne Rooney in attack, with Mexican starlet Javier Hernandez still recovering from the concussion he suffered during their tour of the US.

Manchester City starting XI:
Hart; Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov; De Jong, Yaya Toure, Milner; Silva, Dzeko, Balotelli

Manchester United starting XI: De Gea; Smalling, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Young; Rooney, Welbeck
