Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta has backed striker Magaye Gueye to be a success at the club this season.
The 21-year-old Frenchman joined the Toffees in 2010 from Strasbourg and is viewed as a big prospect, and the Spaniard has backed the youngster to be a hit.
Speaking to the media ahead of his team's pre-season match against Philadelphia Union, Arteta said: "He looks good and he is the type of player you need as well. We need players who can unlock the door sometimes.
"Magaye has got a really good shot."
When asked about the upcoming season, Arteta replied: "There are still three weeks to go but we are all getting prepared very well.
"We are training hard and looking good."
