The midfielder has confirmed that he is unsure of his future following the Hammers’ relegation to the Championship, and says he is focused on relaxing before the new seasonWest Ham midfielder Scott Parker has admitted his future at the London club is uncertain.
The 30-year-old England midfielder has been a rare shining light in what has been a disappointing season for the Hammers.
Tottenham are favourites to sign the ex-Newcastle man, with Harry Redknapp having tried to buy him in the January transfer window, but Parker has delayed any decision on his future until he has returned from a summer holiday with his family.
“My main focus is to go on holiday with my family and relax. It has been a tough season and my main focus is to relax,” Parker was quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
“Whether you believe it or not my focus is to relax. What will be, will be. It is out of my hands. We will see.”
Parker’s performances for West Ham this season have seen him cement his place in the starting XI for England.
