thumbnail Hello,

The Italian teenager, who recently completed a loan spell with Sampdoria, is set to remain at Old Trafford with his representative insisting the Red Devils want him to stay put

Manchester United have no immediate plans to let Federico Macheda go out on loan for the 2011-12 campaign, according to the forward’s agent.

The 19-year-old was on loan at Sampdoria for the second half of the recently concluded 2010-11 campaign but failed to stop the Genoa-based side from suffering relegation from Serie A.

Macheda’s loan period with Samp has now ended and his agent Giovanni Bia says that United want the forward to remain at Old Trafford next season.

"As far as I am aware, Manchester United intend to keep Macheda," he told Radio Mana Mana.

"They don’t want to loan him out again."
