Bundesliga club want French starlet to replace Frank Ribery in midfield while Gunners have Sochaux's Marvin Martin on the radar
Bayern Munich are set to offer £30million to Arsenal in a bid to sign winger Samir Nasri in the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old starlet who joined the Gunners in 2008 has a year left on his contract at the Emirates but a new deal to extend his stay in North London is still yet to be agreed.
Bayern are seeking a replacement for fellow Frenchman Franck Ribery who has been affected by off-pitch scandal and could soon look to leave Munich.
According to News of the World, a source said: "Bayern are thinking big, as their interest in a number of English-based players has shown."
The team has suffered a bumpy campaign and want to make the necessary changes to improve their starting XI.
Fans at the Emirates may be concerned that no extended deal has been officially offered to Nasri who was set to sign a new contract earlier this season, but unlike Mathieu Flamini, who joined AC Milan on a free transfer from north London, Arsenal will not let him exit the club for nothing.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have been reportedly monitoring the situation with Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin who has made a staggering 16 assists in Ligue 1 this season.
