Manchester City are reportedly set to make a move for Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell.
The 20-year-old has featured for England at Under-16, Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 levels, and his performances for the Toffees had seen him being linked with a move to Manchester United.
But now the Daily Mail reports that City could swoop for the midfielder during the summer, in a move to rebuild the squad after having achieved Champions League football.
Everton manager David Moyes has maintained that he would like to see the club's best players being retained, but the Toffees could reportedly allow the youngster, who has four years left on his current contract, to leave for £20 million.
The midfielder is rated by the Castrol EDGE Rankings as the 1243rd best player currently plying his trade in one of the top five leagues in Europe.
