The Frenchman is reportedly set to speak to the former Manchester City boss to convince him not to take the Gunners midfielder to the tournament in Denmark this summer
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will reportedly appeal to his England Under-21 counterpart Stuart Pearce to reconsider taking Jack Wilshere to the European Championships in Denmark.
The 19-year-old has broken into the senior set-up after cementing his place in the Arsenal first-team, and has played over 45 games for the Gunners this season.
Amid fears of a possible burnout, the Daily Mail reports that the former Monaco boss will ask Pearce to reconsider his decision, after he selected the youngster in a preliminary 40-man squad for the tournament.
Pearce has revealed this week that Wilshere has told him he would be willing to represent England Under-21s this summer.
