Gunner was forced off just prior to the break in eight-goal thriller with Hungary but national boss plays down fears over severity of knockNetherlands coach Bert van Marwijk believes that the latest injury sustained by Robin van Persie is not too serious.
The Arsenal striker opened the scoring in the 5-3 victory over Hungary but picked up a knock in the first half and was unable to return to action.
It had initially been speculated that the forward could spend a significant amount of time on the sidelines, but the player's national team boss believes otherwise.
Van Marwijk told reporters: "It didn't look very serious but it was too painful for him to carry on as he was hit by a knee just above his own knee."
Van Persie has in the past missed significant chunks of time for Arsenal due to injuries, and has only recently returned from a knee complaint picked up in the League Cup final defeat to Birmingham.
