Ajax have warned Liverpool that they have no chance of signing Christian Eriksen this summer, claiming under no circumstances will the youngster be sold, according to Talksport.
The attacking midfielder has been in good form this season for the Dutch side with three goals in 28 games and put in an impressive display for Denmark against England in February in a friendly.
The Reds have admired the ability of the Danish international for a while now and are intent in making the youngster their primary summer target.
Eriksen moved to Amsterdam from Danish side Odense for £850,000 in 2008 when he was just 16 and is under contract to Ajax until 2014.
He has made 11 appearances for Denmark but is yet to find the net at international level.
Kenny Dalglish is keen to do whatever it takes to secure the signature of the winger, as he looks to make his mark on his Liverpool side and aims to fill his team with as much talented young talent as possible following the signing of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez in January.
However the Reds will face competition for the 19-year-old from other European clubs such as Barcelona.
