Didier Drogba should consider leaving Chelsea in the summer, according to former Blues defender Frank Leboeuf.
Despite having notched 10 Premier League goals this season, Drogba has cut a frustrated figure in a blue shirt over recent weeks and the deadline day arrival of Fernando Torres seems to have further derailed the Ivorian.
A recent increase in squad options and stagnant form from the 32-year-old are reasons why Leboeuf believes the striker should consider his future.
"Maybe the end of the season is the time for Drogba to move to another club and to find more challenges to carry on his successful career," Leboeuf told talkSPORT.
"It’s a tricky situation for Didier Drogba, he is a big star at Chelsea but he hasn’t got too much time to show his quality right now."
In light of a domestic campaign in which Ancelotti’s men have fallen short of their usual standards, World Cup winner Leboeuf feels Drogba may not be the only Chelsea star in need of a fresh challenge.
"I think most Chelsea players are at the end of a cycle and they may need new challenges," added the former Marseille centre-back.
