Blackburn are considering making an audacious £20 million bid for Roma striker Mirko Vucinic in the summer, according to the Daily Mirror.
Vucinic has been among the goals on a regular basis at Roma since 2007 and his performances have warranted interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, with Manchester United and Juventus rumoured to be interested.
The powerful frontman is also thought to be on wages of £70,000-a-week, something that could be a stumbling block as he would want an improvement on his current deal.
Roma are thought to be keen to keep hold of one of their prized assets in Vucinic and it will take a huge offer to both club and player for Rovers to have any chance of getting their man.
The 27-year-old has reached double figures in the scoring charts at the Stadio Olimpico in each of his last three seasons.
