Blackburn are set to let midfielder Herold Goulon leave on a free transfer after failing to make an impact at Ewood Park, according to the Daily Mirror.
Goulon was brought to Rovers by former boss Sam Allardyce in September last year but has only made one start - the 7-1 loss to Manchester United - and three substitute appearances since his arrival.
Current boss Steve Kean signalled his intentions towards Goulon by leaving him at home whilst the rest of the first team squad headed for Dubai for a training and bonding camp earlier this season.
It is believed that a number of Championship clubs have shown an interest in the former France under-21 international, and Blackburn are waiting for a firm offer.
Goulon’s lack of time on the pitch this season is reflected in the latest edition of the Castrol Rankings. The former Middlesbrough man is rated as just the 1873rd best player currently plying his trade in one of the top five leagues in Europe.
