Fulham manager Mark Hughes is reportedly interested in bringing Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz to Craven Cottage in January.
The Paraguayan is believed to be unhappy at Eastlands and The Metro believe he could be in line to join up with Hughes for the third time.
Injuries had hampered his playing time at City since joining from Blackburn for £17.5million during the summer of 2009, however if Fulham are to afford him, the price tag will have to be considerably lower.
It is believed that City are set to lose at least three stikers over the next year or so, despite captain Carlos Tevez committing his future to the club.
Emmanuel Adebayor seems likely to leave in January, plus Welshman Craig Bellamy, currently on loan at Cardiff City, also looks set for an exit.
City are expected to move for Wolfsburg’s Bosnian hitman Edin Dzeko, who is just one of many strikers linked with a big money transfer to the blue half of Manchester.
