Alan Hutton has welcomed Michael Dawson back to the Tottenham first team following three months out through injury, hailing him as a "terrific player".
Dawson returned to captain the side against Chelsea on December 12, and Hutton revealed that his team-mate was sorely missed during the absence, after he picked up a knee injury on international duty for England.
"I always thought Michael was a terrific player," said Hutton, who is himself enjoying a fine run of form for Spurs, to the club's official website.
"He wins every header, he's commanding and you are bound to miss that at times.
"For him to come back and not look out of place against a team like Chelsea, to look fit and sharp, says it all.
"It was great to have him back."
