Pavel Pogrebnyak could be on his way out of Stuttgart as Everton have shown an interest in signing the striker, according to Soviet Sport.
David Moyes isn't satisfied with the performances of his current strike force and is supposedly eager to add a new attacker to his squad in the January transfer window.
The Everton boss reportedly sees the 27-year-old Pogrebnyak as the perfect addition to his attack.
Pogrebnyak joined Stuttgart from Zenit St Petersburg in the summer of 2009 and has since developed into an important first team player for the club.
The Russian has so far scored five goals in eight Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart this season.
Everton face stiff competition in the race for Pogrebnyak's services, however, as he has also been linked with Aston Villa, Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham.
