Nigerian's chances rated 50-50 for BaggiesWest Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie has revealed his chances of being fit for Saturday's home Premier League clash with Fulham are less than 50-50.
The Nigeria international, who has scored three times this season, missed Albion's shock 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend with a knee problem.
Odemwingie has been a vital part of the Baggies' success this season and is well on the mend but concedes his chances of featuring this weekend are touch and go.
He said: "I am getting better and a little hope is still there for Saturday.
"We will see in the next couple of days if I can train.
"I don't know whether it's as high as 50-50, but there is a chance I could be okay.
"We have a good medical staff and they will take a decision. If I feel 100 per cent right I will play and, if not, we will decide together."
Odemwingie suffered the injury in the latter stages of the 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers prior to the international break.
He said: "In the last minute against Bolton, I had a volley that I missed, and I fell badly. It is frustrating."
