Toffees boss confronted referee after Manchester United draw...Everton manager David Moyes has accepted an £8,000 fine from the FA following a charge of improper conduct relating to an incident at the end of his side's dramatic draw against Manchester United last Saturday.
Moyes and Toffees assistant manager Steve Round have both admitted improper conduct charges.
The charges were brought after Moyes and Round confronted referee Martin Atkinson on the pitch at the final whistle of the thrilling 3-3 draw against Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
Everton scored two late goals against the Red Devils and had an opportunity to score the winner with seconds left before Atkinson blew the whistle for full-time.
Moyes has accepted the fine which is the standard sanction offered for this charge under the FA’s new fast-track disciplinary procedures, while Round has submitted a plea in mitigation with relation to the standard sanction.
This will be heard by a Regulatory Commission on Monday 20 September.
