Fulham confirm striker Bobby Zamora out for at least four months with broken leg

Mark Hughes has revealed that Fulham striker Bobby Zamora has broken his right leg just above the ankle and will be out for a minimum of four months.

Zamora suffered the injury during a tackle with Karl Henry at Craven Cottage and was taken off on a stretcher and supplied with oxygen.

Speaking after the game Mark Hughes told BBC Sport: "He's has broken his leg just above the ankle. We are hopeful he hasn't had an ligament damage.

"He''ll have an operation tomorrow, but he's out for a minimum of four months, but if it's worse it could be longer. It's a big loss. We won it for him really."
