Tottenham striker Peter Crouch expecting tough trip to West Bromwich Albion
Spurs star hopes for early goal...
By Matt Monaghan
The two sides meet this weekend at the Hawthorns, with Spurs looking to rebound from the 1-0 defeat to Wigan Athletic. Crouch will be back in Harry Redknapp's squad after shaking off the back injury which ruled him out of England duty.
Speaking to the club's official website, the giant centre forward expected a difficult test in the Midlands.
"It is a difficult game," Crouch said. "When a team comes up from the Championship they are battling for every point and their home games are certainly the ones that they believe they can get points from.
"West Brom are a decent, organised side that will be difficult to break down but I believe we can do it."
He added: "We have to make sure we start the game right and don't give them any confidence.
"If we get an early goal then it will be fantastic and from there we can get the right result."
