Tottenham Hotspur forward Peter Crouch is reportedly making progress in his recovery from a back injury, and is now expected to be in line to be ready to take part in the trip to West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
The forward sustained a rib problem during the 1-0 defeat to Wigan Athletic, which saw him withdrawing from the recent Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland.
The lanky hitman was thought to have returned to light training earlier this week, and now The Sun reports that the 29-year-old could make a return at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
Spurs are still looking to get back to winning ways following the defeat to Wigan before the international break, and their hopes of doing so are likely to be boosted by defender William Gallas, who recently played 70 minutes of the 3-1 reserve victory over QPR.
It is thought that Gallas will replace Michael Dawson in the line-up, as the England international sustained an injury while on international duty.
