Everton simply have to beat Manchester United - Tony Hibbert
Toffees still looking for their first league victory this season...
By Adithya Ananth
Tony Hibbert believes that the upcoming game against Manchester United is a must-win fixture for Everton.
The Toffees have begun their Premier League campaign in a dreary manner, as they lost 1-0 to Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on the opening day of the season. The stuttering start then continued in their first home game as they managed only a draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, before travelling to Villa Park only to return empty-handed.
Having accumulated just a single point from their three league games to date, David Moyes' men are sitting at 18th position in these early stages of the season.
And the 29-year-old believes that his side must return to winning ways against United on Saturday, while taking heart from the 3-1 result dealt out to Sir Alex Ferguson's charges in the corresponding fixture last season.
"It’s a massive game for us on Saturday," Hibbert said, according to the Liverpool Daily Post.
"We’re at home and we need a win no matter what.
"We’ve had a few good results at home against Man United so I think the lads are looking forward to it."
