Fernando Torres promises Liverpool fans he is ready to shine again
Spanish star almost at sharpest oncemore...
By Zack Wilson
Fernando Torres has assured Liverpool fans that he is now almost at full fitness and that they will soon the best of him again.
The Spain star has been troubled by injury over the last couple of seasons and returned from his country's triumphant World Cup campaign with an abductor problem.
That has healed now, however, and the striker is looking to build his sharpness up again as quickly as possible. Torres scored twice on international duty with Spain in the 4-0 win against Liechtenstein on Friday to indicate he is returning to his best after a frustrating period.
"The recuperation is perfect and we have waited our time," Torres told the Reds' official website.
"I am still not 100 per cent, but the people will soon see the best Torres.
"Each time I am recuperating sensations and I hope to obtain success with Liverpool this season."
