Manchester City's massive outlay on transfers isn't expected to slow after the £325 million spent under Sheikh Mansour's ownership came below budget, according to The Telegraph.
The Blues have rocked the football world since the Abu Dhabi takeover in 2008, with star names such as Gareth Barry, Mario Balotelli and Carlos Tevez being brought in. Unfortunately for their Premier League rivals, the splurge isn't set to stop after about £500m - not including money generated from sales - was earmarked to revolutionise the then struggling club's squad.
The City hierarchy plan to revisit the failed moves for elite names such as Kaka and John Terry once they reach the Champions League. A concentration on young players like James Milner will continue before established names are lured to Eastlands in the future.
