Tottenham midfielder Niko Kranjcar welcomes arrival of Rafael van der Vaart

Niko Kranjcar believes Tottenham new boy Rafael van der Vaart has made the squad capable of challenging on all fronts.
Spurs snapped up the 27-year-old in a transfer deadline busting move. Van der Vaart's arrival has boosted an already strong set up that are set to embark on a club first Champions League campaign.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Kranjcar gave his seal of approval for the £8 million star.
He said: "It's a great signing. It is a player who has played for Real Madrid and Holland.
"We are all looking forward to seeing him join us."
Harry Redknapp's side have been tipped for another successful season at home and abroad. The Croatia star believes they have a great chance of beating their rivals to silverware despite the weekend defeat to Wigan Athletic.
"Chelsea have stamped their authority from the first day and obviously they, and Manchester United, will fight for the title," Kranjcar said.
"For all the great signings Manchester City have made, they need time to gel together.
"We unfortunately lost points at home to Wigan Athletic, but it's a competitive league and it is early doors."
He added: "We've got one of the best squads in the league and I really do believe we have everything to compete in all four competitions."
