VIDEO: Rafael van der Vaart & Sandro's first Tottenham interviews
Two newest Spurs squad members speak to the camera...

An amazingly tense 'has he/hasn't he signed' situation then played out as Spurs fans were left unsure as to whether the Dutch international had in fact joined the club before the transfer window slammed shut, with the FA confirming on Wednesday that the deal had in fact been completed and Tottenham had got their man.
Amid rumours of broken computers and last minute lawyering to ensure that the transfer was authorised, Van der Vaart is now a Tottenham midfielder and he has since given his first interview on the reaction to moving to the Premier League.
Speaking from the Dutch training camp before their international with San Marino on Friday night, Van der Vaart expressed little regret at leaving the Santiago Bernabeau for White Hart Lane as well as speaking excitedly about both joining Spurs and playing in England.
Rafael van der Vaart's first interview as a Tottenham squad member can be seen below:To recap, Sandro was bought by Spurs five months ago, but the 21-year-old midfielder was allowed to stay in Brazil to help his now former employers to success in the Copa Libertadores. Internacional went on to win South America's version of the Champions League, and so Sandro's arrival in north London was delayed that bit longer.
Sandro's late arrival at Spurs had seen some troublemakers raise the possibility that the midfielder had in fact gone missing. Sunday red-top The People ran a story last weekend saying: "Harry Redknapp's Champions League joy has been tempered by the non-appearance of Brazilian midfielder Sandro... Redknapp said: 'Have we really signed him – or is he just a myth? I’ve never seen him here. He’s supposed to be here... but not today!' There is little chance Sandro will show up soon because he is to join Brazil’s squad of European-based players in a training camp from September 2-8."
Surprise, surprise, that turned out to be complete lies.
This week Sandro finally showed up in N17 and, after his first training session with his new Tottenham team-mates, the Brazilian sat down in front of the cameras to give his first interview since joining. And Sandro made himself instantly likable to his new fans by discussing his excitement at arriving in the Premier League.
Sandro said: "Spurs are a team who are talked about a lot in Brazil. They are one of the biggest teams not only in England but also in Europe because of their history. I watched every game last season when Spurs were going for fourth place, cheering them on and hoping they would qualify. When they finally did achieve qualification, it was an absolutely fantastic moment."
