West Ham United sign Lars Jacobsen from Blackburn Rovers subject to Premier League approval - report
West Ham United have signed Blackburn Rovers defender Lars Jacobsen subject to approval from the Premier League, according to Sky Sports News.
The transfer is thought to have reached a conclusion late on deadline day, after the Hammers had looked towards signing a right-back following their recent results.
The Hammers have had a fragile defence this term, which has cracked on nine occasions in three league matches.
And with Michel Salgado having kept the Dane out of the Rovers line-up, the defender is thought to have entertained concerns with regard to his future at Ewood Park.
It has now been reported that Jacobsen is to join the ranks at West Ham, should the Premier League ratify the deal.
