Goal.com UK Poll Results: Readers believe Jose Mourinho is the right man to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United
Voters approve of the Special One...
The Dutchman maintained that he has had long conversations with the current Real Madrid boss, explaining that the Portuguese tactician's future will inevitably get entangled with that of the Red Devils.
With Ferguson now in the dusk of his career, Goal.com UK decided to ask YOU whether Mourinho presents himself as the right man to take to the helm when the ageing Scot calls it a day.
And it appears that an impressive 61.41 per cent of readers — a sizeable majority — believe that the former Porto boss is the right man for the job, perhaps owing to his ability and drive to succeed, coupled with the experience of having already guided two different teams to the podium in the Champions League.
However, 38.59% of voters are of the opinion that Mourinho is not the right man to succeed Ferguson, with his stability, style of play, and United's debt being possible reasons for making such a choice.
But, when all is said and done, at this point in time it seems the Portuguese coach has won the popularity vote on Goal.com UK.
