Roma striker Stefano Okaka won't join West Bromwich Albion - agent
Domenico Scopelliti has denied chance of Hawthorns arrival...
By Salvatore Landolina
Roma look likely to hang on to Stefano Okaka after reports linking him with a move to West Bromwich Albion were met with firm opposition by his agent Domenico Scopelliti.
English reports had linked the hitman with a Premier League return following his loan spell at Fulham last term. Albion coach Roberto Di Matteo was said to be keen on the Italian.
But hopes of landing the striker have been dampened. Scopelliti is confident Okaka will cut his own shade at Trigoria.
"I don't know anything about West Bromwich," the agent told Romanews.eu.
"Stefano will not leave. He has the faith from Claudio Ranieri and he is happy with the situation here."
Meanwhile Simone Loria is at the opposite end of the scales to Okaka. He is likely to leave the club, according to his agent Antonio Dell'Aglio, who told Romanews.eu: "We are looking at various clubs, but for the moment there has been nothing new.
"Tuesday could be an important day for my client."
